JoBloJoBlo

WATCHMEN Who watches the WATCHMEN? If Fox has its way, nobody. Well, not quite.

Fox has been embroiled in a legal battle with Warner Bros. over the rights to develop and distribute a film based on Alan Moore’s seminal graphic novel and when WB moved forward with the film and have gotten to the point where they’re starting to unroll the film’s massive marketing campaign, they appealed to have Fox’s lawsuit dismissed. Today, Nikki Finke from over at “Deadline Hollywood Daily” is reporting that a federal judge has denied WB’s motion to dismiss. If Fox gains any more ground in this, the film may be delayed from its March 6th, 2009, release to…who knows. Click through to read Finke’s excellent and quite detailed report.
