Watchmen… sequel?

JoBloJoBlo

Apparently Hollywood, never one to miss a chance to squeeze an extra buck out of an idea, is open to the idea of making a sequel to the upcoming WATCHMEN. Oh I know, I was shocked too. Patrick Wilson (Nite Owl) spoke to MTV:

“It’s all been talked about,… Financially, they like to do that. But all of us, [director] Zack [Snyder] included, all go, ‘How on Earth could you do a sequel or prequel?’ Certainly, artistically, I can’t fathom how it would happen… But hey, if Alan Moore writes it, I’d love to read it.”

Unfortunately studio heads added to the article by saying that if/when Alan Moore writes a sequel to the movie, they probably won’t need Patrick Wilson or any of the other cast back anyway because we will be firmly living in the realm of unadulterated fantasy, where sentient computer programs have made paid actors obsolete, and Fascist alien super models have taken over the world outlawing the making of motion pictures anyway. So, you know, take this with a pinch of salt is all I’m saying.
