Last Updated on July 30, 2021

This is it folks. MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE is here to finish off the sci-fi, action trilogy, and frankly, there are a ton of exciting sequences in the latest chapter. Once again, directed by Wes Ball, the new film finds the return of Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Kaya Scodelario and Dexter Darden as well as some greats like Patricia Clarkson and Barry Pepper. One of the things that has made this series a hit with the fans is the cast, and the third time offers all of the actors a chance to shine. It’s very clear that there remains a camaraderie between the players.

At the junket for THE DEATH CURE, we spoke to O’Brien, Brodie-Sangster, Scodelario and Darden about working together, and taking on heavier emotional arcs. Dylan, who has proven to be a seriously impressive leading man, talked about a few of the influences that went into the new film. From the opening sequence to the finale, you’ll notice a hint of BLADE RUNNER, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD and a few others. With less time in the maze, the actors have an even bigger world to explore, with a fantastic new character played by the incredible Walton Goggins.

MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE is headed to a theatre near you this week!
