We Talk Super Troopers 2 with the Broken Lizard gang!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

The boys are back, and there is a whole lot of funny on the way! For all you Broken Lizard fans waiting for a sequel to their cult flick SUPER TROOPERS, we now have it. Thanks to an Indiegogo Campaign and a lot of love from fans, Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Hefferman, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske were able to return to the Vermont/Canada border. This time around, they are forced to deal with a few angry Canadian Mounties, as well as a whole lot of drugs… I mean A LOT of drugs.

We recently spoke to the fine gentlemen who make Broken Lizard, and not surprisingly, they were fantastic.  During our conversation, the fellas discussed the audience love for the original, raising money and working with the studio, as well as the clever marketing advertisments. And to start things off, we talked about the usefulness of stroking your beard during a movie, happily, this was exactly the kind of conversation I expected. If you are a fan of Jay, Kevin, Steve, Paul and Erik and their Broken Lizard shenanigans, you are going to love SUPER TROOPERS 2. And yes, this flick is heading into theatres on 4/20!
