We talk to director Corin Hardy about The Nun, scary movies & The Crow

Aside from a peek at IT: CHAPTER TWO and a big look at THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA at "ScareDiego" at Comic Con this year, we also got a look at some scenes from THE NUN, which is a spinoff of the character first introduced in James Wans' THE CONJURING 2. Director Corin Hardy was on hand (and with a creepy Nun doll in pocket) and shared with me why he wanted to take on THE NUN, what makes a scary movie SCARY, the atmosphere of the film, his disappointment over THE CROW falling apart and what he has in mind to take on next.
