The film is based on the 1934-published detective novel Murder on the Calais Coach by legendary author Agatha Christie, and is hailed in many literary circles as one of the most exhilerating and intelligent stories ever told. Previously, Agatha's story has been adapted into a radio play that was originally broadcast that ran from December 28, 1992 to January 1, 1993. It starred John Moffat as Poirot, while André Maranne appeared as Bouc, Joss Ackland as Cassetti, Sylvia Syms as Mrs. Hubbard, Siân Phillips as Princess Dragomiroff, Francesca Annis as Mary Debenham, and Peter Polycarpou as Dr. Constantine. Furthermore, MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS has also been adapted for the silver screen in 1974 thanks to director Sidney Lumet.

Branagh's MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS will be pulling into theaters on November 10, 2017. Be sure to check back with us tomorrow when the trailer goes live!
