Ben Wheatley’s horror drama KILL LIST made some waves at this year’s SXSW Film Festival; it was quickly picked up by IFC Midnight here in the states and by Optimum Releasing in the UK. Now the promo parade begins, with an eerie teaser trailer that brings echoes of that video from THE RING. Don’t worry, though: the full trailer is scheduled to hit on Wednesday, JULY 20th. Hopefully we’ll get something that makes a little more sense…
The synopsis for KILL LIST: Beginning eight months after a disastrous job in Kiev left him physically and mentally scarred, ex-soldier turned contract killer Jay is pressured by his partner, Gal, into taking a tough new assignment. As they descend into the dark, disturbing world of the contract, Jay begins to unravel once again – his fear and paranoia sending him deep into the heart of darkness.
KILL LIST will hit theaters later this year.
