I have long considered NYmag.com to be one of the most original non-movie movie websites to occupy space in the world wide web. Their all-too on point feature on 5 films to get us through a year-long Judd Apatow drought (next June’s YEAR ONE is the next feature with the Apatow-stamp) further backs my theory that the folks in New York have their trendier than thou ears to the streets. It also confirms all of our suspicions that if you want a comedy green-lit in Hollywood these days, you best be casting at least one member of Apatow’s crew. If not, the box office basement is most likely your destiny. God I love a good monopoly! Check the article and accompanying video clips HERE!
