When it comes to critics, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES isn’t having much luck. The fourth film in the PIRATES franchise is getting swashbuckled with most critics agreeing it’s the worst in the whole series. Our own Chris Bumbray said in his review that he was so bored, he “almost fell asleep twice.” It’s not faring much better on Rotten Tomatoes with a 33% rating. But the film is expected to take in over $100 million this weekend at the box-office so is this a case of critics not being in tune with audiences?
