Brie Larson Captain Marvel

Yesterday the internet exploded with delight (or so I imagine) with the news that Brie Larson was the frontrunner to play Carol Danvers in CAPTAIN MARVEL. While talks between Larson and Marvel are still in the early stages, it's said that she's Marvel's first choice. That's of course no guarantee that she'll wind up with the role, but that hasn't stopped numourous artists from imagining just what Brie Larson would look like as Captain Marvel. The always reliable BossLogic was one such artist, and he recently put his spin on the potential CAPTAIN MARVEL star.

CAPTAIN MARVEL will chronicles the adventures of "Carol Danvers, an air force pilot whose DNA is fused with that of an alien during an accident. The resulting alteration imbues her with the super powers of strength, energy project and flight." Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman are currently working on the script, and the search is on for a director. Word on just who will fill that role should arrive before too long, in fact, just this morning both Jennifer Kent (THE BABADOCK) and Niki Caro (WHALE RIDE) were touted as contenders.

CAPTAIN MARVEL is set for a March 8, 2019 release.
