Wolfman wears Weaving

JoBloJoBlo

For a project that seemed to be sent into turmoil with the recent departure of its director, the remake of THE WOLF MAN seems to be rapidly coming together.

First, creature wrangler Joe Johnston (JUMANJI, JURASSIC PARK III) stepped in to replace the swiftly exiting Mark Romanek, and now other cast members are assembling. Elf elder and Neo-puncher Hugo Weaving will be hounding Benicio del Toro’s half-hound in the film, playing a detective named Aberline.

Weaving joins Brit hottie Emily Blunt and Sir Anthony Hopkins, who already dealt with one classic monster in DRACULA. The script is reportedly getting a post-strike polish from David Self, and the film is due in theaters next February.
