Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson are animated turkeys

It’s just a matter of time before every well-known (or even moderately known) actor will eventually provide their voice to an animated movie.

I don’t know if we’ve nearly run out, but Owen Wilson is providing his vocals to another animated character that has feathers instead of wheels. The CARS engine will join his bud Woody Harrelson and his bro Luke for TURKEYS, playing the titular poultry who “discover a time machine and travel back to the first Thanksgiving to take themselves off the menu.”

The movie comes from Walden Media executive Cary Granat’s new Bedrock Studios (let that sink in) and will be directed by Ash Brannon (TOY STORY 2, SURF’S UP). Grossout comedy king Peter Farrelly (THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY) is producing, so expect more than a few jokes involving bodily functions.

Speaking of functioning bodies, Harrelson also starred in AFTER THE SUNSET with Salma Hayek. She looks like this:
