Woody Harrelson Star Wars Han Solo

Who wouldn't be "totally psyched" to be appearing in a STAR WARS movie? It could be STAR WARS: JAR JAR BINKS' BOWEL MOVEMENT for all I care and I think I'd still be pretty pumped if I got the chance to appear. With ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY now under their belts, Disney is currently in the midst of production on their second STAR WARS spinoff. As it wouldn't be STAR WARS if it wasn't shrouded in secrecy, we've heard very little about the UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM and who the new characters joining the galaxy's most lovable scoundrel might be.

We do know that Woody Harrelson will be playing a man named Beckett, a criminal who serves as a mentor to Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich). While speaking with the Evening Standard, Harrelson expressed his excitement at appearing in the film and revealed that his character is definitely a good guy.

I am totally psyched to be making a Star Wars film. But the secrecy is on another level. What I can say he’s a good character, he is a mentor to Han and a criminal, but good at heart.

Not much, but I think we've gotten used to our STAR WARS news arriving piece by piece. The UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM will focus on the adventures of Han Solo and Chewbacca prior to the events of A NEW HOPE and is set to star Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-BridgeMichael K. Williams, Ian Kenny and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are directing the flick from a script by Jon and Lawrence Kasdan, the movie is set for a May 25, 2018 release.

Woody Harrelson posted the following photo on Instagram of a little reunion with his HUNGER GAME pals Jennifer Lawrence and Francis Lawrence, and it seems that he brought Alden Ehrenreich along for the sole purpose of standing awkwardly to one side with his glass of wine and Han Solo hair. Love it.
