Wrath of Con!

JoBloJoBlo

A few years ago, a few of us web writers were standing around a Comic-Con party after a few too many mojitos and wondering why we had to bust our balls to get on party guest lists. “Shouldn’t we just do something ourselves?,” someone asked? A web party sounded like an awesome idea but it also sounded like one of those drunk ideas that sounds good at the time but in the morning sounds a little too ambitious. But here I am pleased as punch to announce the San Diego Comic-Con Wrath of Con party!

At the rooftop of the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night, one of the hottest parties in town will be kicking off with special guests Jason Statham, Len Wiseman, Rhona Mitra, David Goyer, Milo Ventimiglia, Bill Nighy, John Cho, Kal Penn, Simon Pegg, Sophie Monk, Neil Patrick Harris, Lena Headey, Jamie King, Edgar Wright and many more! It’s strictly invite only but I got the goods on how you can score an invite and hang with Jason Statham AND JoBlo at the same party! 10 passes will be given away at the “Masters of the Web” panel on Thursday morning at 10am in Room 32AB (where I’ll be speaking alongside AICN, CHUD, IESB, Latino Review, Dark Horizons, MovieWeb, Cinematical and The Movie Blog). The panel will be moderated by CRANK and THE GAME directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor who will be bringing exclusive footage from their upcoming films as a bonus. So make sure to check out the panel and come hang with the JoBlo crew!
