Animated sequel Addams Family 2 reveals new poster, cast, and release date!

So I love THE ADDAMS FAMILY, ever since I was a little kid! Hell, my first crush ever was Christina Ricci as Wednesday when I was, like, 5 (which probably explains how my adolescence went), and I always enjoyed how fun and loving they were as a family, despite their spooky exteriors! However, for whatever reason, I still haven't seen the recent CG-animated adaptation (though I mean to), but that didn't stop the film from being a box-office success, and a sequel from being announced. You can ever see the poster for the new film (featuring the aforementioned Wednesday) at the bottom of the article!

It has also been announced that the returning cast – Charlize Theron (Morticia), Oscar Isaac (Gomez), Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday), Nick Kroll (Fester), Bette Midler (Grandma) and Snoop Dogg (Cousin It) – will be joined by Bill Hader as all-new character "Cyrus", and Javon “Wanna” Walton, who is replacing STRANGER THINGS' Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley!

Other than that, not much is known about the new film (other than "The Addams get tangled up in wacky adventures and find themselves involved in hilarious run-ins with all sorts of unsuspecting characters"), but here's the synopsis for the first film:

Members of the mysterious and spooky Addams family — Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester and Grandma — are readily preparing for a visit from their even creepier relatives. But trouble soon arises when shady TV personality Margaux Needler realizes that the Addams' eerie hilltop mansion is standing in the way of her dream to sell all the houses in the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, ADDAMS FAMILY 2 – directed by the returning Greg Tiernan – is currently scheduled for October 8th, 2021!

So what do you guys think? Fans of THE ADDAMS FAMILY? If so, did you like the CG-animated remake? Either way, sound off below!
