Now that the witches of "American Horror Story: Coven" have found their next Supreme, we can look ahead to the wicked fun that WGN America is conjuring up for us with "Salem", and today we have a brand new TV spot that warns that you don't have to be a believer to be afraid…

"Salem" is set in the volatile world of 17th century Massachusetts and explores what really fueled the town's infamous witch trials. The series will look to uncover the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history.

“Salem” stars Janet Montgomery as the ruthless but vulnerable Mary Sibley, Salem’s most powerful enchantress – and Alden’s onetime love interest; Shane West as handsome, hardened war veteran John Alden; Seth Gabel as local aristocrat Cotton Mather who fans the flames of Salem’s witch hunt; Ashley Madekwe as Mary’s mysterious, carnal accomplice; Xander Berkeley as chief politician Magistrate Hale; Tamzin Merchant as the forthright Anne Hale, an artist with a perilous attraction to Alden; and Elise Eberle as the mysteriously afflicted Mercy Lewis.

"Salem" premieres on April 20 on WGN America.
