Yuck it up with the Detention of the Dead trailer

More zombies are on the loose in DETENTION OF THE DEAD, a horror-comedy that proclaims itself a cross between THE BREAKFAST CLUB and SHAUN OF THE DEAD. Indeed, that’s what comes across when watching the new trailer, which you can catch below.

Comedy and Horror unite in this “The Breakfast Club” meets “Shaun of the Dead” tale about a group of oddball high school students who find themselves trapped in detention with their classmates having turned into a horde of Zombies. Can they put their differences aside and work together to survive the night? Fat chance! This is High School after all.

DETENTION OF THE DEAD stars Jacob Zachar (“Greek”), Alexa Nikolas (“The Walking Dead”), Christa B. Allen (“Revenge”), Jayson Blair (“The New Normal”), Justin Chon (“21 and Over”; “Twilight”) and Max Adler (“Glee”). It was directed by Alex Craig Mann.

The film will be available on VOD June 18th and in Select Theaters June 28th.
