Zombieland DVD deets

Of all the dismal things that happened in October, ZOMBIELAND was a very pleasant surprise – with critics and the mass audience (it raked in over $85 million worldwide against a budget of approx. $23 mil) giving it a big thumbs up. I’m sure many of you can’t wait to invite the funny bastard into your homes, so it’s with the spirit of the holidays that I bring you the street date: FEBRUARY 2nd.

The DVD/Blu-Ray will include commentary from Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Director Ruben Fleischer, Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick; deleted scenes; visual Effects Progression Scenes; a Woke Up Dead Episode “Up and At ‘Em”; and trailers. Apparently the Blu-Ray will include a “Beyond the Graveyard” Behind the Scenes Picture-in-Picture Track, as well…

Of course, this won’t be our lone visit to ZOMBIELAND, as it was announced earlier this month that the principal crew is already prepping ZOMBIELAND 2 (RETURN TO ZOMBIELAND..?). If I have a complaint about the first film, it’s that the 2nd act lags a bit – perhaps due to the fact that there aren’t enough zombies in it..? Just my 69 cents. Perhaps they’ll up the zombie ante in the new one…

Hottie Emma Stone, looking hot.
