Another reboot courtesy of Fox, Daredevil!

Don’t act like you didn’t see it coming…

Most of us remember the 2003 film version of DAREDEVIL. A lot of people were really excited (I might be stretching it here) to see the Ben Affleck take on the role of Matt Murdock. The rest of the cast consisted of Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Colin Farrell as Bullseye, Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin/Wilson Fisk, Jon Favreau as Franklin Nelson, and the list goes on. Mark Steven Johnson directed and wrote the film.

A lot of people were disappointed upon the film’s release, but when the director’s cut came out that changed some minds. So why the reboot? Deadline states that Hollywood studios with Marvel superheroes need to keep reinventing the Marvel movie franchises or the rights revert back to Disney-based Marvel.

David Scarpa (THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, THE LAST CASTLE) will be penning the screenplay.
