Cool Videos: When District 9 meets the World Cup

Someone finally realized that the World Cup and DISTRICT 9 both are in the same location, South Africa, and they decided that was worth making a video about. How are soccer fans like aliens? They trash the place, don’t care about disturbing the piece, and often can look pretty goddamn extra terrestrial.

I was very skeptical at first, but the folks at Atom have done a fine job of making “District 11” legitimately hilarious, and the entire thing is very well done. It starts out slow, but it picks up, trust me, though don’t expect any CGI soccer-themed spaceships.
