Everybody knows that he's gay, nobody cares - except to applaud the fact that he came out of his own accord. If you look at the posts related to NPH over the years, you'll see he's revered at this site. So take a Valium and chill out.

I don't know why you feel the need to point out that NPH is gay (WTF does that even matter? He's cool and he's a good actor and a great host, so why does his sexuality make any difference?)... I just registered to point out that I think your post was really immature and I don't understand what NPH's sexuality has to do with judging him. Judge him as an actor. His sexuality has nothing to do with it. He is a regular guy who just happens to have a boyfriend who he's been with for 5 years. So what? On another note, judging him for playing Doogie Howser TWENTY FRICKING YEARS AGO is also ridiculous. He was 16! Give him a break. He's proved since then (and even then) that he's a very good actor, so I don't understand why people keep throwing the Doogie thing in his face like it should discount everything he's done in the last 20 years. That's just idiotic! Anyway, I, for one, am looking forward to NPH hosting the Emmy's - I think he's amazing. And I hope he wins for best supporting actor in a comedy while he's at it. He deserves it. I wish people would stop trying to discount his talent in the meantime by using the "he's gay" and "he's Doogie" things as some sort of excuses as to why people shouldn't support him. It's both retarded and homophobic, IMO.
