Noice! Brooklyn Nine-Nine granted expanded 18-episode order by NBC

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Bingpot! As part of a smort move by NBC, the network has announced that they'll be adding five episodes to the original 13-episode order for Season 6 of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE. The half-hour comedy created by the PARKS AND RECREATION duo of Dan Goor and Michael Schur stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Stephanie Beatriz, Drik Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller as New York's finest and funniest NYPD ensemble.

To be frank, people lost their dang minds when it was believed that the show had been uncerimoniously canned. Thankfully, not long after its cancellation, NBC picked up BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, thereby spreading joy and laughter throughout the land. It's a fitting situation really, particularly when you consider that NBC placed a bid for the show back when it was for sale in 2012. With BROOKLYN NINE-NINE now getting a total of 18 episodes for its sixth season – as opposed to the original 13 – fans can look forward to even more zany antics from The Big Apple's most upstanding officers later this year. Suck it, Fox!
