Ryan Reynolds wants to get in the Safe House with Denzel Washington

Many of Hollywood’s dashing younger actors want to be in David Guggenheim’s SAFE HOUSE with Denzel Washington.

The list of actors after the co-starring role is pretty long. Shia LaBeouf, Taylor Kitsch, Chris Pine, Sam Worthington, Garrett Hedlund, Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth, and Jake Gyllenhaal all want it, but right now Ryan Reynolds is out in front for the part. Is this a big surprise? Nah. Gyllenhaal is the only other actor I would consider to be competition for Reynolds. This is just a guess on my part though.

The script from Guggenheim is apparently a damn good one. What’s it all about? “Set in South America, Safe House follows a young U.S. intelligence agent who must go on the run with a newly arrived prisoner (Denzel’s potential role) after his titular safe house comes under attack — think of a mix between Collateral and Three Days of the Condor.” The role that they are vying for is a “young CIA agent who must transport a dangerous criminal to safety after both are attacked at a safe house.”

Who would you have co-star with Denzel?
