13 Sins red-band trailer starring Ron Perlman plays a sick game

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Set to premiere at this weekend's SXSW Film Festival is 13 SINS, the latest genre outing from THE LAST EXORCISM's Daniel Stamm. And with its debut just days away, a red-band trailer has been released delivering a solid dose of the red stuff. The film is a remake of the 2006 Thai horror flick 13: GAME OF DEATH, and they actually look quite similar. I don't recall much from the original film, but I do distinctly remember the motorcycle scene in which a bunch unfortunate people get turned into giant pez dispensers; and from the looks of this trailer it appears they kept that scene, which is all I ever wanted! Dig it below!

The story follows an indebted man who gets a mysterious phone call telling him he’s on a hidden camera game show while also offering him a fortune if he completes thirteen tasks. The man accepts the challenge but is soon over his head as each task is more horrifying than the last.

The film stars Ron Perlman, Mark Webber, Rutina Wesley, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Tom Bower and Devon Graye. 13 SINS will be screening at SXSW this weekend and will be receiving a March 14th release on iTunes and On Demand followed by a theatrical run from Radius-TWC beginning April 18th.
