Writer/director Zak Hilditch and the streaming service Netflix previously worked together on the Stephen King adaptation 1922 (pictured above), a movie that features what may well be the greatest performance of Thomas Jane's career. Hilditch and Netflix are now continuing their working relationship with a psychological thriller titled RATTLESNAKE.

Currently filming, RATTLESNAKE tells the following story:

When a single mother accepts the help of a mysterious woman after her daughter is bitten by a rattlesnake, she finds herself forced to pay back her "debt" by taking the life of a total stranger in the rural town of Tulia, Texas.

Carmen Ejogo, Theo Rossi, and Emma Greenwell star.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Hilditch found a way to fit Thomas Jane into this one. It sounds like it's going to be pretty interesting, though. 1922 was so good, I'm on board to watch anything Hilditch does from now on.

RATTLESNAKE is being produced by Ross Dinerstein.
