Any faithful fan of “Mystery Science Theater 3000” will recall the gang’s skewering of ZAAT (also known as THE BLOOD WATERS OF DR. Z), a stinky chunk of 70s cheese about a wimpy, frustrated mad scientist who transforms himself into a killer mutant fish in order to exact revenge on his former colleagues. A classic, to be sure, and now people who actually love the original, MST3K-less movie will be pleased to know that the flick is on its way to Blu-ray and standard DVD in February.

The disc will apparently be packed with special features, including an audio commentary with director Don Barton, writer / special effects coordinator Ron Kivet, and actor Paul Galloway who played the local Sheriff, as well as original trailers, television spots, rare promotional materials, and never before seen behind-the-scenes photos and outtakes.

Pre-order the ZAAT Blu-ray right HERE; it comes out on FEBRUARY 21st.
