In MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, Jake discovers a mystery that spans different worlds and times, all leading to (you guessed it) Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. But the mystery and danger deepen as he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers. Sounds pretty creepy and right up Tim Burton's alley! Empire and Entertainment just got hold of the first images for the film, of which I've included for you below.

It's been some time since Tim Burton has really delivered with his usual shtick, so I'm hoping PECULIAR CHILDREN will be the flick to win me over and actually make want to see a BEETLEJUICE 2. I'm not familiar with the novel of the same name, so at the surface this looks something like DARK SHADOWS, which was just a mess. Still, I'm glad Burton had the good sense to cast Eva Green again. I've yet to find a film that she hasn't made better simply be being there.

MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN will open on September 30, 2016.
