Next year you'll be able to return to the wizarding world with FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM, the first of three planned Harry Potter spinoff movies focusing on eccentric magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). The film will see Scamander traveling to New York with a magically expanded briefcase that houses a number of dangerous creatures who, of course, escape, which could cause trouble for wizards and No-Maj (American for Muggle) alike. Filming kicked off in August with Harry Potter 5-8 director David Yates behind the camera, with a cast that also includes Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Samantha Morton, Colin Farrell, Jon Voight and Ron Perlman.

Last week Warner Bros. revealed that an "announcement trailer" for the movie will be released today, and now the teaser is online for your viewing trailer, as well as the first poster. What are your thoughts on the first trailer for the upcoming film?

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM has been set to hit theaters on November 18, 2016.
