Three days and counting until Michael and Peter Spierig see their hopeful halcyon day vampire flick DAYBREAKERS unleash hell on the world (part of it, anyway). And in case you haven’t chugged enough blood or seen enough vampiric vomiting, y’all have hit the Lotto. Not only do we have a fresh pair of TV spots for the flick below, we’ve caught wind of a nifty minute-length clip courtesy of the folks over at MTV (find that shite HERE).

In 2019, everyone is a vampire. With the human blood supply rapidly diminishing, a race for survival among the dominant race and what’s left mankind serves as a springboard for all kinds of gory, hectic shit to ensue.

Willem Dafoe, Ethan Hawke and Sam Neill anchor the picture, doing so with help from the stunning Isabel Lucas, Claudia Karvan, as well as Michael Dorman, Michelle Atkinson, and Jay Laga’aia.

Early word on the flick seems to be so so, but if it happens to lead the charge in restoring all that’s good and right in the lore of nocturnal bloodsuckers – I’m all mothaf*ckin’ for it!

Get down with the TV spots below (the first entitled “Immortality,” the second called “Horror”).

DAYBREAKERS opens Friday!

I think Isabel Lucas could have been in the running for JoBlo Hottie of the year (2009)!
