2 up Town Creek

A couple months back we told you about TOWN CREEK, a vampire movie set to be directed by Joel Schumacher. Since Shumacher hasn’t made a movie worth watching since THE LOST BOYS, I could really give a rats ass about this movie… except that CREEK is also a vampire movie, and like BOYS, maybe he’ll produce something totally awesome. A guy can dream, can’t he?

CREEK landed two more cast members today, Dominic Purcell (“Prison Break”) and Jesse Mecalfe (JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE). The two will star as brothers on a mission of revenge who become trapped in a harrowing occult experiment that dates back to the Third Reich. Whatever the hell that means.

Set to be distributed by Lionsgate, production is looking to begin March 1st of next year. It’s all up in the air with this one, as Shumacher is generally a mixed bag, but vampires and Lionsgate on board… well, I guess we’ll have to see. I’ll keep my fingers crossed if you will!
