You must give the poster designers for 27 DRESSES credit, as they have gone out of their way to design not a thrilling, but at least an unorthodox aesthetic for their poster. It’s no secret that after KNOCKED UP, Katherine Heigl is a bonafide move star, but whether she can become the next Sandra Bullock or Reese Witherspoon of the romantic comedy world, remains to be seen. I personally think she has what it takes, but then again I also thought Jennifer Aniston had what it took, and look what’s happened to her career (it isn’t great, if you think it is). 27 DRESSES sees Heigl playing the always the bridesmaid, never the bride type-of-girl, but really, with the kind of guzoongwats that she’s sporting, you’d be bonkers not to marry this girl. 27 DRESSES opens on January 11.
