28 More Days!

Are you a fan of Danny Boyle’s 28 DAYS LATER? Is it your opinion that it was one of the better zombie films to come out in the last 20 years? Do you want to know what happened to London after the Rage swept through? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you’ll be speeming at the shorts to know that a sequel is now in the works, entitled 28 WEEKS LATER!


Boyle, along with Alex Garland and Andrew Macdonald are back to create one cool zombie universe in the sequel, though Boyle will not be returning as director. Instead, relatively unknown director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo will be helming this tale, which takes place 6 months after the Rage virus destroyed London. The US Army saved the day and have restored peace and civilization to the city… until some dude with the Rage virus strolls into town and begins spreading the virus to everyone and everything… havoc, chaos, violence and destruction ensues in London once again.


Color me excited, as the premise is actually pretty entrigueing. Not only that, but props to whoever came up with the title- that’s so much better than 28 DAYS LATER 2! Will they create another electrifying zombie film to scare the bejesus out of movie-goers world wide once again? i certainly hope so!
