30 Days part 2

Lots of news is now coming out of the annual American Film Market, including this juicy bit of info, caught by ShockTillYouDrop: there is a sequel to 30 DAYS OF NIGHT headed our way. It will once again be overseen by Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures, and written by the graphic novel’s creator, Steve Niles.

Apparently, the story picks up with Stella (Melissa George) seeking revenge on the vampires that killed her hubby and ate up all of her neighbors. No surprise to whoever has seen the flick, as the last shot pretty much indicates that Stella is about to make Buffy look like Dakota Fanning…

No word yet on when this flick will rev up – I’m not even sure if there’s a great demand for it, but heck, as long as it distracts Ghost House from making more BOOGEYMAN and GRUDGE movies, I’m down…
