BEYOND THE GATES, THE MIND'S EYE, and ALMOST HUMAN actor Graham Skipper has turned writer-director himself on the sci-fi horror flick SEQUENCE BREAK. I've been hearing good things about the flick throughout last year. And today we have the trailer for your viewing pleasure.
Check it out up top!
Supposedly, the movie is based on the urban legend of Polybius, a video game that supposedly surfaced in Portland in the early 1980s as part of a government mind-control experiment that produced addictive and psychoactive effects in players. More officially though, the film is described as
A surreal sci-fi romance wherein a beautiful young woman and strange metaphysical forces threaten the reality of a reclusive video arcade technician, resulting in bizarre biomechanical mutations and a shocking self-realization.
SEQUENCE BREAK is written and directed by Graham Skipper, who also produced the film along with Wasilewski, Lyle Kanouse, and Lisa Long. Sarah Dandashy, Jennifer Gilley, Roger Gilley, Adam Egypt Mortimer, Amanda Mortimer, Anne Street Skipper, and Thomas Burke serve as executive producers. It stars John Dinan as The Man, Lyle Kanouseas Jerry, Fabianne Therese as Tess, Audrey Wasilewski as Audrey, and Chase Williamson as Oz. The movie is now streaming over on Shudder.
