The Mandalorian season 2 images tease Baby Yoda & more familiar faces

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to arrive on Disney+ on October 30, 2020, and Disney is gearing up the promotional campaign with some first-look images that tease a glimpse at some familiar faces from season one.

The focus of the images, which comes to us via "Entertainment Weekly", is on the show’s heroes. Lovers of all things cute will be seeing Baby Yoda again and judging from the images, he's still cute enough to sell a few toys and stuffed animals.  We can see him with Pedro Pascal’s titular gunslinger, who’s joined on his journey by friends he made during Season 1 including Gina Carano’s mercenary Cara Dune and Carl Weathers’ Greef Karga, leader of the bounty hunter guild who kind of steered The Mandalorian’s actions in Season 1. You can check out the first-look images below!

The story for season two of The Mandalorian is being kept under wraps but Jon Favreau, who is running the show again as a producer along with Dave Filoni, had this to say about the second season during an interview with "Entertainment Weekly" that housed that first-look photos:

"The new season is about introducing a larger story in the world. The stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its own flavor, and hopefully, we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show."

With the release of these first-look images could a trailer for season two be far behind? All signs point to the fact that it's coming soon and I for one can't wait to see what season two has to offer. Did YOU like the first-look images? What do YOU want to see during season two?
