Walt Disney Studios has unveiled four new character posters for FROZEN 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to director's Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee's 2013 animated marvel. The new prints serve to highlight distinguished members of the film's main cast, including Elsa (Idina Menzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), Olaf (Josh Gad), and Kristoff (Jonathan Groff). For the sequel, each of the aforementioned characters will embark on a mission to help save their beloved Arendelle, a kingdom teeming with life, love, and warm spirits.

You can check out all four of the new posters below:

Here's the official synopsis for FROZEN 2:

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough.

Joining the returning cast members of FROZEN for the enchanted sequel are Sterling K. Brown (THIS IS US) as Lieutenant Matthias; and Evan Rachel Wood (WESTWORLD) as Queen Iduna. The new film will feature music composed by Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Lee and Allison Schroeder wrote the screenplay, which has Lee and Buck returning as directors for the new film.

When FROZEN arrived in theaters, the 2013 animated masterpiece took Disney fans by storm. So beloved was Anna and Elsa's adventure that FROZEN went on to become the highest-grossing animated film of all time, as well as the highest-grossing film of that year with over $1.2 billion grossed worldwide. Since that time, FROZEN has been marked as a monolithic achievement for Disney, whose long-standing history includes delivering memorable animations that cross borders and unite generations. I hope you're ready to surrender to FROZEN 2, my friends, because I've heard that the sequel promises to be even better than its predecessor. Don't resist. Just open your arms and let go.
