Late last year, it was announced that Paramount Pictures had hired Midnight Special's Jeff Nichols to write and direct a film set in the world of A Quiet Place, based on an idea by A Quiet Place (watch it HERE) and A Quiet Place Part II writer/director John Krasinski. With A Quiet Place Part II now in theatres (after a year delay due to the pandemic), Paramount is looking ahead to the release of Nichols' addition to the franchise. The third A Quiet Place movie is scheduled to reach theatres on March 31, 2023.

Details on this project are being kept under wraps, but Deadline suggests that it might not be a direct sequel to its predecessors. Instead, they seem to think this film might focus on different characters and be used to "broaden the world that the original introduced". That is a

post-apocalyptic world where survivors are struggling to stay alive by being quiet, as monsters with ultra sensitive hearing hunt them.

Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller will be producing the film through their company Platinum Dunes, while Krasinski produces, alongside Allyson Seeger, through his company Sunday Night.

While we wait to hear more about Nichols' A Quiet Place, you can read our review of A Quiet Place Part II at THIS LINK and share your thoughts on the sequel HERE or in the comments section below.
