Paramount nabs I Am Yours, a Fatal Attraction-like thriller from Tyler Perry

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

It sounds as if Paramount Pictures is going to need to take a trip to a well-stocked ATM as the studio has just secured a six-figure deal for I AM YOURS, a spec script by Ryan Belenzon and Jeffrey Gelber. Deadline Hollywood, who exclusively broke the news regarding the deal, says that the upcoming thriller has a FATAL ATTRACTION stalker vibe to it and that audience members will be on the edge of their seats when experiencing the new story. American director/screenwriter/actor and comedian Tyler Perry is on board to produce alongside the Platinum Dunes triple threat of Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.

In recent movie news, Belenzon and Gelber penned the Black List script for THE ROCKET, a script centered around the controversial baseball pitcher Roger Clemens. The duo are also in charge of adapting THIS PERFECT DAY for Netflix and Doug Liman, a science fiction story about a technocratic dystopia.

We'll be sure to bring you more news concerning I AM YOURS as it develops. In the meantime, if you ever feel that you are being stalked, be sure to alert the proper authorities as well as a few witnesses to your situation. Stalking is a serious matter than should never be taken lightly. Cheers!
