Shortly thereafter, those in attendance at the show were presented with a newly cut sizzle reel for the upcoming sci-fi action film. Rather than describe it to you myself, I'll let Paul give you the goods:
Saw a newly cut sizzle for #AlitaBattleAngel (in 3D no less). Looks really cool and shows Alita finding another “body” onboard a crashed ship and later wearing it. I think people will settle in easily to the mo-cap performance after a short bit. #CinemaCon

Just saw two clips from #AlitaBattleAngel at the Fox presentation. One clip had Alita waking up for the first time with her new body and another was a fight sequence with a cyborg that was whip-like fingers. Really slick and smooth. Effects work looks really solid. #CinemaCon

It sounds as if ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL is coming along nicely, right? If you're unfamiliar with the concept for the project, ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL tells the story of one young woman's journey to discover the truth of who she is and her fight to change the world. Based on the Japanese manga series created by Yukito Kishiro, the tale is a post-apocalyptic yarn featuring a cyborg who loses all of her memories and the cybernetics doctor who helps piece her back together again.
