Luke Cage (Mike Colter) sure had some fun teaming up with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) for THE DEFENDERS, but now it’s time for him to get back to his own business in his solo show. The second season of LUKE CAGE is on the way, and in a brand-new teaser trailer, the man looks angry and ready to take on the world and is ready to stomp anyone who tries to f**k with Harlem. There are many reasons you shouldn’t step up to Luke Cage, one being he seems in the mood to chew someone’s ass out.
On top of the footage, the new teaser trailer announces the release date for the show, with all episodes ready to air June 22. This is a fairly early announcement for Netflix, who haven’t been announcing their release dates until about a month out. But the last season of LUKE CAGE broke Netflix, so they’re probably just trying to get everyone prepared.
