New international Thor: Ragnarok posters come packed with characters

Thor: Ragnarok Marvel

I've mentioned several times before that I've never been completely blown away by either THOR or THOR: THE DARK WORLD, which is a shame as Chris Hemsworth is fantastic as Thor, as is the rest of the cast and the world itself. We're still several months out from the release of THOR: RAGNAROK, but I'm expecting that the Taika Waititi film might just turn the tide and win me over. With an added dose of cosmic weirdness as well as a great new cast, including Cate Blanchett as Hela, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, and of course, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, THOR: RAGNAROK is looking like it could be quite the treat.

All the colourful marketing has been quite the sight to behold, and two new international posters for THOR: RAGNAROK have been revealed which continue the tradition. Although the posters appear extremely similar, they do feature different versions of Cate Blanchett's Hela – one with her horned crown, and one without. Golly!

As much as I enjoy Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster smirking in the corner, I think my favourite poster is still the one which debuted at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.

The official synopsis for THOR: RAGNAROK:

In Marvel Studios’ ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!

THOR: RAGNAROK will hit theaters on November 3, 2017.
