There’s little explanation into how STRANGER THINGS became the phenomena it did. It came, we binged, and the world has never been the same. Now season two is fast approaching, and so far promotion has been kept to a minimum. All of that has changed now, as Netflix just dropped a new teaser for the season and with it a terrifyingly awesome poster. On top of all that, the show has set an official release date of October 27 of this year. T'will be a happy Halloween indeed!
Not much to go on, but it’s suitably ominous, and the poster below looks like artwork from an H.P. Lovecraft story. I’m going to put on my bulletproof vest here and say that, though I love the show, I’m not as in love with it as the rest of the world. I watched the show through once, which me saying gets the same reactions as if I had just kicked a baby otter. It’s undeniably great, but needless to say I’ll need a refresher before heading into season two, a journey I am looking forward to revisiting.
