Ah, who doesn't love LOVE ACTUALLY? Well, some folks, I guess, but for those of us who enjoyed Richard Curtis' 2003 Christmas rom com it's time to head back to jolly ol' England and catch up with some of your favorite characters from the film and see what they've been up to in the sequel short RED NOSE DAY ACTUALLY. Not everyone is back, of course (RIP Alan Rickman!), but many of them return to reprise their roles, including Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rick Grimes Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, Laura Linney, Rowan Atkinson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Hugh Grant and…a few other surprises.

Check out the full short below!

Yes, it's a gimmicky tie-in (albeit for a good cause) and rehashes the more memorable scenes from the first film (with a twist, of course), but damnit if it didn't make me smile and, more than anything, wish that we had a feature length film to revisit these characters. I'd love to see a sequel every decade or so with these characters (where's my LOVE ACTUALLY cinematic universe, Hollywood???), but until that happens I'll just settle for LOVE ACTUALLY in my Christmas movie rotation and this little bumper that ties up a few loose ends.
