If one thing is sure in this world it’s that the films from Aardman animation will be clever, unique and adorable…and strange. We just got the first trailer for the newest film from the studio, EARLY MAN, from WALLACE AND GROMIT director Nick Park and starring Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston. Needless to say it looks like it will deliver on all the Aardman cylinders. Plus, having a MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL vibe ain’t too shabby either.
Again, it looks silly and quirky and will probably have a lot of fun with the setting. I think it will give Aardman plenty of ammo to try something new by getting out of a modern setting and going back to the time of dinosaurs and pigs with human characteristics. Don't get a whole lot from the teaser, as is per usual, but the silliness is there, and that rabbit looks vicious. I'm down, Aardman, I'm down.
