High school outcasts stumble upon an alien ship, where they acquire superpowers and are dubbed the Power Rangers. It's that easy, folks! Don't worry about the karate, that comes later. Under the tutelage of Bryan Cranston's head (Zordon, if you must), the kids will fight evil, and hopefully pass algebra. They won't be alone, however, as they do have a mechanical helper in the form of Alpha. You can check out their introduction to this strange robot in the clip below!

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were a little after my time, but I think it's pretty cool that they're going back to re-start the series from scratch in a big-budget film. Granted, I realize a lot of that classic cheese that made the show so popular won't be present here, but if the film can create a cast of kids that we actually care about, that'll be one step in the right direction!

POWER RANGERS hits theaters on March 23, 2017.
