Thor and Hulk fight it out plus Cate Blanchett’s Hela in new concept art

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

The digital download for DOCTOR STRANGE is now available, and on it you can find some Phase 3 goodies in regards to Taika Waititi‘s Thor: Ragnarok. The story is said to follow the mighty God as he is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his hammer, finding himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest with his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk! You can check out some art and screengabs from the upcoming film, courtesy of Andy Park and Comic Book Movie!

This was just revealed in the #drstrange HD digital download extras. I loved working on this keyframe illustration for #ThorRagnarok depicting the amazing #CateBlanchett as #Hela & the awesome duo of #Thor & #Loki

While the THOR films are arguably the least-interesting entries into the Marvel canon, I think Feige and Co. were very conscious of that in crafting RAGNAROK. This, in turn, led them to double down on not only the inclusion of Hulk, but also Taika Waititi. The man has made a serious name for himself with films like WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS and HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE, so there’s little doubt that he won’t put his own unique stamp on RAGNAROK. I have a feeling this could be one of the better comic book films in some time!

THOR: RAGNAROK opens in theaters on November 3, 2017.
