Kong: Skull Island TV spot shows off tons (maybe too much) new footage

I love me some KING KONG. I loved the original '33 version, I loved Peter Jackson's 2005 version, and even liked some of the stuff in the '70s version. Hell, I don't even hate the cash-in SON OF KONG sequel! So I'm definitely down for KONG: SKULL ISLAND, unnecessary as it is. And if it means a showdown between him and Godzilla down the line? More power to it!

That's all to say, there's a new TV spot for KONG that shows off tons of new footage. Let's have a look, shall we?

Not going to lie, I wish some of these things weren't spoiled for me (like the nuclear test reveal or some of the other monsters), but this definitely gets me more excited for the film. Especially since it looks like Samuel L. Jackson is going to go full-crazy mode in it.

But what do you Schmoes think? Cool-looking remake, or unnecessary cash-grab garbage? Sound off below!

Either way, KONG SKULL: ISLAND will beat some monster ass March 10th, 2017.
