Woman meets ape in the new banner for Kong: Skull Island

KONG: SKULL ISLAND follows a team of explorers and soldiers in the 1970s who travel to an uncharted island in the Pacific, unaware that they are crossing into the domain of monsters, including the mythic Kong. While the trailers paint a very different picture of this Kong movie from previous iterations, there are some staples that look to remain the same. I give you the girl, portrayed by the lovely Brie Larson, and the ape, who are featured in the latest banner for SKULL ISLAND!

This is the first time we've seen the girl and the ape together in this film, although I'm willing to bet there's no budding romance and ice skating this time around. Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts aims to craft a classic adventure story with his film, and I can't wait to see what's in-store for us in the heart of Skull Island! We'll have A LOT more to say about it in the near future!

KONG: SKULL ISLAND hits theaters on March 10, 2017.
