Rogue One rated PG-13 plus new TV spot and Empire cover

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Lucasfilm dropped a new featurette this past week on ROGUE ONE that gave us a nifty behind-the-scenes look at the film, plus some never before seen footage. Admittedly, I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't even notice the official rating posted at the end of it! While it may come as no surprise, the MPAA has rated ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY PG-13 for "extended sequences of sci-fi violence and action." Extended action sequences? You damn right! We have a few other goodies to share with you today as well, including Empire's exclusive cover showing off some Death Star schematics!

I assume that at some point in the film we WILL see the Death Star schematics, so my question is whether or not they'll take on the form we see above (much like we've seen on the posters) or if it'll look like they did in A NEW HOPE. I mean, I'm not going to get super nitpicky if they don't, but it would be cool to see those retro white dots back in action. In any event, check out the latest TV spot below and get your hype on!

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY opens in theaters on December 16, 2016.
