Stan Lee has already filmed four of his Marvel cameos

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Stan Lee is as much part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as overly-bright cinematography and weak villains are  So it's no surprise that at a special screening for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Kevin Feige was asked about Stan Lee's cameos for the new movies, and if they were random or thought out.

Here's what Feige had to say:

We do not shoot random ones. They're always very specific,… A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day — for four various projects. They're all awesome! They're all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.

Four different projects? At once? That's crazy! I mean, it's less crazy when you remember that their schedule is jam-packed with back-to-back projects, and that as a movie studio Marvel is shooting multiple films at once. But still, the man's almost 100 f*cking years old! That's impressive. And, kidding aside, I do like the Marvel films and am looking forward to more Stan Lee.

The next Marvel film (that will undoubtedly feature a Lee cameo) is DR. STRANGE starring Benedict Cumberbatch, coming to theaters November 4, 2016. After that, he'll be seen in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: VOL 2 (May 5, 2017), SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING (July 7, 2017), and THOR: RAGNAROK (November 3, 2017). Keep your eyes open!

So what's your favorite Stan Lee cameo, and why is it when he dies from drinking Hulk's blood in INCREDIBLE HULK?
